For the 70th anniversary of D-Day – Reconstitution camp Bloody Gulch

We organize this year exceptional animations Bloody Gulch memorial to commemorate the Battle of Normandy in which perished so many men, women and children in 1944. The Bloody Gulch memorial will focus on civilians who were too many to die in Normandy (about 23,000) Méautis the town has about thirty civilian casualties, some were shot by the Nazis. The chapel of Donville keeps in his cemetery the bodies of three of the victims of the war. We organize this year the following events:

  • A US recovery camp with vintage vehicles
  • A school once in 1944 with courses and animations
  • A bomb shelter equipped for civilians made from a photograph
  • A grocery from 1944
  • Civilian and military activities with firefighters required period
  • Jazz concerts the 06 and June 7, 2014Two drops of leaflets and materials for resistance above Donville’s Manor on 06 and June 7 (3:30 p.m. 5:30 p.m. ET)
  • Three interactive night shows the high quality 06, 07 and June 8, 2014 at 23:30.   • Guided tours by the owner in person of Bloody Gulch memorial, archaeological remains and Donville mansion that still retains traces of fighting with knives in their rooms as has been mentioned in the Spielberg film “Il saving Private Ryan “(see prices in the” to visit “) the visits will be from 9:15 am to 18:30 continuous

For individuals or groups reconstitution to camp at the memorial. We offer campers hot showers, water, electricity, location in an ideal location that has not been denatured since 1944.
